I wish I could stay here forever,
Rooting myself in your soil.
Every time I’m about to leave,
I feel a turmoil that’s hard to settle,
Always fearing that once I look back,
Everything will have become a whisper of the past.
So in many mornings and evenings,
I come to quietly explore, to answer my doubts.
